The Center is a faith-based nonprofit health and human services organization.
Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ by bringing together the resources of our caring community in order to transform our community.
Our Programs and Services
Programs and services are available only to the residents of the Wa-Nee community, which includes those living in Nappanee and Wakarusa, Indiana. Program days and times vary throughout the week, some by appointment only. Please click the “Learn More” buttons for more information.
Food
Food Pantry: 'Client choice' food pantry of shelf-stable, refrigerated, frozen and bakery items with a milk voucher.
Holiday Help: Holiday food and other items available for families and individuals during Thanksgiving and Christmas Jubilee.
Children
Immunization Clinic: Newborn through age 6 for those parents who do not have adequate insurance or Medicare coverage.
BackPack Program: Meals for children on free and reduced lunches on the weekends and over the summer.
Baby Care Items: At times, baby items are available for residents of the Wa-Nee School Community. If parents have a need for baby care items, they may contact the Center to check availability.
Financial
Medical Assistance (MAP): Help with prescription medications.
Rent, Utility, or Crisis Assistance
Clothing
Clothing Closet: Gently used clothing for all ages.
